Marwan’s climbing journey began in 2011 and has since evolved into a lifelong pursuit of adventure, teaching, and exploration. For him, climbing is a philosophy as much as it is a discipline—a path to self-discovery, resilience, and connection with the natural world.

With over 13 years of route setting and instructing experience, Marwan has worked with climbers of all levels, from curious kids taking their first steps on the wall to athletes refining advanced techniques. His teaching style emphasizes awareness, precision, and self-motivation, encouraging climbers to embrace challenges with joy and confidence.

As a certified guide, Marwan has spent more than 8 seasons leading climbers through the legendary sandstone towers of Wadi Rum, helping adventurers master the skills needed to climb independently. Beyond guiding, he has bolted over 50 routes across Jordan, contributing to the growth of the local climbing scene and maintaining some of its most iconic lines.

Whether in the gym, on limestone cliffs in the north, or on the desert walls of Wadi Rum, Marwan continues to balance his own training with a passion for teaching, sharing, and expanding the horizons of climbing in Jordan and beyond.
